Case Study#8 Designing a City Emergency Plan -San Francisco department of emergency management

Not because I'm a truly realistic person, I always have been worried about how can I react in various emergency situations since when I was a kid. (Just for extra detail: I wanted to have an underground bunker to protect my families from all kinds of potential disasters when I was 8 or so...)

As far as I inspect, I believe this simple but intolerable worry presents in every mankind on earth, while they are submerged down the busy daily lives and struggles. SF72, however, especially for the government association, current (2020) COVID19 circumstance, and also with the growing tendency of both frequency and intensity of natural disaster (majorly due to environmental unbalance), is a great system that can lighten their citizens’ burden.

They provide emergent-or sub-emergent-personal toolkit guidelines that citizens should carry during such situations, while everybody would agree this is one of the excellent-kind of information that normal people might easily overlook even though they utterly understand that surely it is essential information.

Moreover, it is now published for an opensource program online, which helps other cities to cooperate, sharing their status(of distinct cities) or coping with the circumstances cooperatively.
